The gentle, loving caress of the new Makita. We feel you bro.

Nothing like opening up a new Makita.

When she said “Plants” she was referring to establishing roots. When she said “books”, she was referring to the book of life and the chapters not yet written. Man, she really wants a ring! But all she got was this incredibly thoughtful plant shelf with room for books. Put a ring on her finger IF she makes you happy, if not then be banished to the realm of “he was a really thoughtful guy”.

Shoot maybe you’re onto something. The other day she told me she wanted “tacos”. What does that mean???

Looks cool! Definitely a pre sand pre finish before glue up project

I agree- I definitely need to be better about pre finishing but I guess I'm lazy haha

Note that books in a window will get sun damaged after a few years. The edges of the paper will yellow, and the jacket / cover may fade.

Very cool idea! What CAD Software are you using in the beginning?
@Designsbyluke4 күн бұрын
Thanks- that was Rhino 3d. That’s kind of my favorite program to model in but I’ve also been using a good bit of fusion too.
@mtevrest4 күн бұрын
@ thanks! I have just gotten into fusion and started to get the hang of it after watching countless hours of tutorials, only to find out that’s impossible to automatically export a cut list that automatically takes all the measurements of your components which is a real bummer to me. Is that possible in Rhino?
@Designsbyluke4 күн бұрын
@@mtevrest yeah fusion is great- no rhino definitely can’t do that. I haven’t heard of anything where you don’t just have to do it manually. Wouldn’t there be way too many perameters?
@mtevrest3 күн бұрын
@@Designsbyluke sketchup is able to do that with addons but lacks the parametric design. I thought about designing in fusion and once I’m happy with everything export it to sketch up to get a cut list
