Have you ever done an instructional video for how to level up in juggling? I’ve been able to juggle 3 balls for decades…but i don’t know any tricks or frills. Maybe a video of where to go next after you can do 3 balls?

I learned 3 ball cascade in third grade with small oranges and tennis balls. I didn't level up until my mid 20s when I found a juggling website with stick figure animations, opening up a whole new world. 3 ball trick progression: (tennis, half shower, reverse cascade, 423, columns) --> (shower, 441, windmill both directions, mills mess, 3 up flash) --> (531, box). Also the basic cascade just with different throws (overhead looking straight up, claws, body throws). At that point I started 4 balls (fountain, half shower) -> (shower) and 3 clubs. I started seriously working on 5 balls in my 40s, and it took me a few years to get to 100+ catches... My end goal is 5 clubs and any 5 ball siteswap (likely 645).

I've had airport security staff ask for juggling demonstrations several times. They are bored, too. The one situation where I ran into trouble was entering Australia where they have strict agricultural controls and had questions about what the balls were filled with, so I would not take a millet-filled ball on a trip there. Juggling for toddlers in airports has to feature the toddler-favorite moves like hitting yourself in the face over and over again, and head catches.

Hi Taylor, when I went to New Zealand a few years ago my juggling beanbags got confiscated at the airport. Apparently it's because they contain seed. So now if I travel I always take the liquid filled balls rather than beanbags.

Ah yes I forgot to mention that in this video. If you’re flying to Australia or New Zealand they have strict rules about importing seeds. So beanbags are not usually permitted if they have millet. The plastic pellets filled beanbags help with that problem too.

Thanks to you and your tutorials I started juggling and I always bring my balls with me, even in my hand luggage when I fly. Balls are of the heavy kind, maybe with millet or other seeds inside I don't know it myself and I've noticed that every time I go through the check with them in my bag I got hand swabbing with paper strips. Very impressive juggling while hobnobbing with Heathrow's British aristocracy. An opportune time for a tip jar, or spittoon in a pinch. A few 20 pence here and 50 there, you could have gone home a couple of pounds heavier. Knighted from tourist to traveler. The 'Bin In Black' must have to Walk The Line. Good security tips but I wouldn't stash my stash there and now that you have us addicted to every day in May we are all dependent on seeing you every afternoon in June now.
