There is a chicken coop on one of the mod websites that can hold 25000 chickens, don't know if it helps

I havent played this game in a bit now. Might have to go mess around some on it. Last couple of videos i have seen I've been curious why you dont get a few more trailers for dropping feed? Just drop off whole trailer of feed at the drop off points.

Oh man it’s just so much feed to go through…the trailer I’m using there now has a little enhanced realism and holds a little more than it should and has benne making buying and shipping the feed a little easier.

Chances are you are referring to the "Enhanced Animal System" mod. When the animals reproduce, if there isn't enough space for them, they get sold off.
