They coded next gens wrong, they try to run single file in the corners and no rules in the straights. Gen 6 has two lanes they can run, with same no rules in the straights

After code masters bought slightly mad studios, the people from project cars, project cars 2 had that exact problem when after restarting after an accident, cars would be missing wheels, spoilers, splitters, etc.

I'm only 3minutes in so we will see, but if this Daytona race is good and you figure out some better settings I'm all for it, especially if you make it "more endurable" than what it was. Having preordered the game back in the day with no availability for a refund, yes the game had its negatives but it still had its positives. The two main issues for me were the lap/caution timeline (for example being on the lead lap but going a lap fown after a caution since you didn't cross the start/finish line yet), and the lap limit (5, 10, 25, 50, 100%) not staying locked to the setting you had it, for example being on lap 100 of 100 but the game added laps up to 128 of 100). To those saying to not support the developpers I can understand where you're coming from and I would agree for new purchases and if you plan on buying the DLC, but if you already own the game and dont go race online... Whats the issue or the boycotting is all about, the purchase is made so move on and now we learned for the future (Nascar 21 Ignition and NHL24 were my two last preorders and I have heavily learned to not preorder for a long time). And yes completely agree that the NextGen car is unfixable in this game.

Not a fan of the idea of another season on this game. It tends to be something you don’t end up enjoying, and the bad racing and trying to just get to the end doesn’t always compare to your other content. I’d rather see time spent on a different game, nr2003, dirt to Daytona, an older EA game, or any of the other decent games we’ve had. A whole season is probably more than too much.
