I have a tip. After venting away from a body I usually close all the doors on the map and sabotage something, this causes confusion which can make someone forget a important detail which could get you voted out

If you have another imposter with you, you can say he saw you do a visual task. Then everyone will think you are good and even if your imposter friend gets voted out people usually forget who saw you do it

Also if there on the MiraHQ map there are sensors in the Y hall telling who goes where they do have a short cool down but likely no one would need to turn back so quickly unless there looking for someone, so if someone there knows how to read the logs, then it can be a major flaw to vent to a complete opposite side of the HQ.
