Hi Brian, does the Fendt Combine have flow covers over the grain tank augers? It probably has, so next time Bob empties the grain tank climb in & lower those auger covers & that should prevent the spout from plugging &/or shear bolts letting go. Keep making the videos as we love watching American farmers here in the UK. 🇬🇧 😀 🇺🇲

Thanks for a most interesting video Brian. It was very interesting with your bins being full to top. Now that bin that is full to the top; don’t forget to reduce that bin down some. Having grain all the way to the top is not good, will soon start spoiling. I must admit I don’t follow you on the way you manage your bin system. Gets real confusing Maybe some day you can kind of review your bin system with us. I hear you say you have to move corn from some bins and you have wet corn; so where is the Wet corn going??????? You lost me there. Almost got your corn harvest for 2024 done with. Yeah. Plugging the unloading auger on the combine must be a situation some place. An adjustment needed some where. Getting down to the end it appears. Thanks for everything Brian. Looking forward to the bin explanation. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

Morning! By far my favorite farming Family on Y tube. The folks in my state on the tube are fake and very self centered. They come across as genuine.... Unfortunately, true colors shine bright. Actually, kinda sad .. this is not a fake operation.. Bill is a true good ol boy . Have a great day from Minnesota

Think about the benefits of the aerobic exercise that you are getting! Some people BUY stair step machines, and you have the stairs already handy!😮😂 Great video, but I would have thought that the bugs would have been worked out of the combine by now. I'm not judging the brand, all of them take tweaking for each use, but it has been a season or 2 (wheat harvest) of frustration for y'all. Keep the videos coming, and I will keep watching!👍👍

Maybe in a year or so, you can add another big bin at your main site. Harder to do with drought years.
@DonWelterАй бұрын
Despite some aggravations, at least you're moving forward. Topping off the bins a semi-load at a time has to be challenging. Can't blame you for not using the old bins if they are questionable...sure wouldn't want a bin collapse or major spill. Hope the double-crops are ready before nasty weather starts to set in.

In the off-season you need to move the two red snouts to the center position, or as far outside as possible. That will look cool.

Brian, is it possible to change gears to speed the auger up? It looks like it is turning too slow to me. We had a new combine once that kept plugging the straw chopper and we finally found that the drive and driven pulleys were reversed. Just a thought. Would be nice to know before next fall.

How does a new machine shear the pins with enough regularity that you know exactly what the problem is? I used to bust 'em too, but that was way back (JD 6600, IH 915, Oliver 7600), and only if you were too aggressive with the rpm and unload engage (poppin' the clutch) at the same time. I kinda thought the engineering (load/stress/shear) would've balanced out by now, especially with all the other gadgets they have now!

I am sure you probably get a lot of "that is what you get for buying a Fendt" comments. I watch other content creators that run green and red machines. To me it seems like the corn head is the biggest issue this year and not the combine. Glad to see the bins getting full though.
