Tyler started being all romantically frustrated and pursuing Wednesday in the same episode that Thornhills class was about carnivorous plants using sexual mimicry to lure in prey. I took that as a clue.

Yes she really ran the whole gamut of emotions after avoiding them for so long. She started realizing after burns from Enid, Xavier, & the Eugene incident that maybe she's NOT better than Bianca after ALL! 🤔

“You know lobotomies, their like tattoos, you just can’t get one.” 🤣 There is only one member of the Addams Family that I love more than Wednesday and that’s Uncle Fester. He’s freaking insane, even by their standards. And Fred Armisen was PERFECTLY cast as Uncle Fester. I hope that he actually becomes a full supporting character in Season 2. Plus I never thought that I would fear for the (un)life of a disembodied hand but damnit they made me care for him as much as Wednesday. As for the Hyde, I like the concept of it but I just wish they made it look scarier, it looks more like a cracked out chupacabre.

I suspected was Tyler from the episode Wednesday said something like "there is a monster on all of us" and the camera showed us Tyler. But just before this episode i remember i was kinda changing over the idea of the hyde and the dead sister been miss Thornhill and the therapist(or the opposite). I never suspected Xavier

I had a slight feeling it could be Tyler since I knew Tyler was around too and not just Xavier, but the dance and him getting hurt kinda threw me off on knowing for sure who it is. I told my parents,” I don’t wanna be right, but I think it might be Tyler” and they were very sus on thorn hill like you guys are

I figured out early on it was Tyler even though I missed some clues you guys pointed out. I just figured 2 things gave it away. 1) They showed Xavier wayyy too much for it to be him. 2) Since the Hyde spared Wednesday's life after killing Rowan, the only other person that liked Wednesday was Tyler who was just as obsessed with her as much as Xavier was. 3) Plus he always walked around in a daze and was Angry ALL the time! Great acting & storytelling! 🎭🎦🍿

Yeah I figured it was Tyler after he scratched himself. Xavier seemed too much like a red herring. It's a bit predictable, but they make you stop and think several times. So it's still fun to see what happens.

@spriken The glasses and pictures she already had, the necklace she could have swiped from the police station. Who do you think planted them, the sheriff? She had most of the items and knew exactly where to find them in the room because she placed them there. It's also a tv show. Sometimes, they simply don't account for every detail.

You guys got some things right but I feel it was wishy washy picks cause of going back and for who the Hyde is. Either way it was a good reaction. Remember the episode 1 right after the first murder when Thornhill met Wednesday, and said "I'm sorry about the mud on my boots". why did she have to say that other than give a clue that she was in the woods by the time if the murder... I discarded her to be involved because it was too obvious..

Hate to pop your bubble, but the character played by Christina Ricci (the botanist), can't be Tyler's Mum. She was talking with Tyler when he and Wednesday went to the Rave'n. Tyler's mum died, that's why his dad never talks about her. I'm about half an episode ahead of you, so I don't have the actual answer yet, and only have a little more info than you, but my bet is that the Gates daughter didn't die, lived her life abroad a decade or two before coming back with a fake identity, and she's either the monster or controlling it somehow.

We know from episode 7 that Tyler is the Hyde. Wednesday saw him kill the therapist in her vision.

@@chrishebert5672 yes, and I'm talking from what they knew before they started the episode, not at the end. And it was mostly in response to who they thought was Tyler's mum. His dad wouldn't be so broken up about it if she worked down the road and got coffee from their son every morning. His mum died, that's the trauma that allowed the psychiatrist to unlock his Hyde.

I don’t think that Wednesday actually thought Xavier was the hide, I think she just wanted to get him out of the way and out of danger… But that is probably just me trying to figure something else out -i’ve already seen this and I didn’t try to predict anything for the first couple of episodes, because where is the fun in watching a supernatural TV show and trying to figure out the plot twists, being surprised is the best part of watching a new show. I never liked Tyler come here especially because he liked Wednesday and he wasn’t subtle about it- I mean, I probably would have liked his friendliness towards her. If she was any other character, say Wednesday, Xavier kinda had a point when he said “what’s there to like“ I do wholeheartedly, believe that she was confused about who Laurel was, but I think she planted all those things in Xavier‘s shed to get him arrested and out of the way while she figured everything out because she really does care about him I don’t know if I’m right, I just really like Xavier for some reason😅

What made me think it was Tyler from episode 2 was the way his father refused to talk about his mother. It drove he and Tyler apart. Definitely a big mystery with Tyler's mother. At the time, I was thinking that Tyler's mother may have had an affair with someone at Never More, resulting in Tyler being born a Hyde. Perhaps that was the big mystery and why Tyler's father won't talk about her? You'll find out in the next episode.
