Ghosting is my favorite Mother Mother song. It makes me feel several different emotions that are separate than the message, just that I’ve connected to myself, but I also love the meaning behind the actually song.I love the sound, because it does sound so soft and safe almost. It’s just beautiful in general

I love your nuanced take on arms tonight! Since (I think?) the artists have confirmed it's about sex, some people tend to shut down conversations by saying "it's about sex HEY it's about sex did you know it's about sex?" which can get pretty annoying. I know what the artists say it's about but the fun of music is making your own interpretation

that's definitely been the most consistent theme throughout their work i've felt so far is things are left more ambiguous so each song is about more than one thing. granted, most songs are about multiple things and interpretations that are kind to yourself and others are all valid. i think mother mother really does go to a specific topic or emotion and keep it in a place thats applicable to so many. which should be celebrated and embraced over argued :)

I know mother mother songs can seem really heavy but I really love the way they romanticize the human experience. They hit so many different perspectives and stories with songs that make you want dance and shout along with them. For me, personally, they make me think of sad experiences and be thankful for what they tought me and how strong they've made me. This band really puts a triumphant foot forward when it comes to these topics instead of a defeated one

Arms tonite probably has to be my favorite mother mother song especially since it is so vague in a way and the metaphor is loose so you can think about this song in many ways. when i first listened to the song i just thought it was about someone dying by maybe overdosing in someone’s arms? but then i listened more closely to the metaphor and then realized the song is probably about something more mature. there are so many interpretations and i make a new one each time i listen to the song!

I really really like how deep you go into the lyrics and the music. I find your theories and ideas wonderfully put! I really like Wrecking ball and I do believe it's more about harming people and lashing out because you are hurting and not so much about physical violence. I think it's about the kind of attitude of "no one can hurt me if i push them all away". Anyway, love your videos! I hope you are okay.

RWBY has some pretty nice music! I would recommend "Red Like Roses part 2” “Time to say goodbye” and “its my turn” they are older songs but still really good. Newer songs would be "War", "Trust Love", “Indomitable” and “Fear. The show's a bit long and still ongoing but it would be cool to see your reaction to it!

Having recently gone to a mother mother concert, I’d like to say they kind of gave a bit of a description for Wrecking Ball, and they said that a big part of the meaning behind it is a kind of “stick it to the man” sentiment. The repetition of “just because I can” is empowering, and reminding you that your life is your own and you can do what you want with it, even if that’s destructive. (I can only remember bits and pieces of what they said, but this is how I can remember it)

As someone with a lot of anger and not really any outlets, I _really_ vibe with burning pile and wrecking ball. It's just... It's almost freeing? Just for once, allow yourself to go off. Allow yourself to actually be angry rather than holding it in the please people And that's that on being an Aquarius sun, Scorpio Mars I guess lmao

If you watch some live versions of wrecking ball (I think the canteen and live sessions are the ones Ive seen) there's an additional part at the end which I think changes the meaning of the song a bit and I honestly cried the first time I heard that version. I kind of skipped through so you may know but there's three singers Ryan is normally lead then there's Molly and Jasmin, Molly's voice is really unique even when talking so you can usual tell who's doing which part.

They have two albums, The Horror and the Wild and Love Run, and honestly every song is amazing but here's some I'd recommend! -Farewell Wanderlust -The Horror and the Wild -Elsa's Song -Welly Boots -Marbles -That Unwanted Animal -New York Torch Song -Wild Blue Yonder Definitely some really emotional ones in there so be warned, but their music is so worth it!
