Trying to Survive as a Solo Rhino - Animalia Survival

Hello everyone.
It came to my attention that I never made a Rhino gameplay on this channel.
So here it is.

For the people asking why I diden't help the zebra, in this server Its againts the rules to help other animals that are being hunted or if they are not in the same group as you. Hope you understand by helping the zebra im subject of a strike or even a ban.

I hate that some people think just because an animal is a herbivore, that it cant or wont be aggressive. There are many herbivores that are quite aggressive and will go out of their way to attack a carnivore or predator in its territory.

A rhino will murder anything that it can’t tell isn’t a predator, which is most things due to its poor eyesight. I don’t get the “herbivores don’t attack things” rule. Especially if the animals are in a herd together, they throw hands for each other even if they aren’t too close for one reason: they stand a chance against a predator better if they work together, and if they let a predator kill one of them, then they’ll be the lone target left. It’s not accurate to be completely passive as an herbivore. It’s more accurate to be passive as a carnivore minus the hunting, because herbivores are the ones that kill things not for food

@@HammboneBob most of the big herbivores will actually go out of their way to make sure any threats become a non-issue to protect themselves in the future. Moose for example. God help you if you run into an angry moose, even backing away slowly wont always save you

Yea a predator usually only becomes violent when its stomach starts twistin, prey are in defense mode every woken second and most of the asleep ones

Too bad everyone literally has a bias torwards carnivores. I played a hippo and people legit told me that I cannot enter the water cuz the lions wouldn't be able to hunt me so it was unfair. Like, dude, I know, it's the whole reason I entered the water in the first place 💀

What part of realism are these people missing? If I was playing this and going for realism as a rhino then it would be attack on sight for literally everything. It’s not a realism server. It’s literally just “let’s have an excuse to make carnivores the best” server and if you don’t comply then everyone whines at you until you get kicked out for actually being realistic. And seriously a lion has to be starving or stupid to go near a hippo in the first place

The most annoying thing about this game (or maybe the active server) is how many rules there are for literally everything that is impossible to keep track of making you have to walk on eggshells to not break any rules. For example A raffe literally killed me for being in his precious personal space even though i was laying down several meters away and instead of telling me to move he made several raffe movments saying i should have known that those meant move later when i brought it up in global chat (no idea how anyone could have interpreted that 😂) and then went up and killed me. Then there is the rules about how many chunks you’re allowed to have, how many you’re allowed to be in the group (which to make it more difficult ofc varies from animal to animal and gender to gender too in some cases) and many other silly rules that makes it feel more like studying law than playing a game 😵‍💫

Interesting remarks about Lions and other predators not attacking Elephant or Rhino. They're trying to play as if it was real life where Lion's generally will not go anywhere near adult Elephants or Rhinos for good reason. They don't want to get injured or die trying to get a meal when there is easier prey to take down. But it's been a good 3 years or so since I last played Animalia. I read that there's been a lot of new creatures added. last time I was on for any time was when the Croc had just appeared. But that was a horrid beast to play as every time you were under water and stopped under water creeping up on some unsuspecting prey, your croc would turn to face one of the compass points for some weird reason. But I understand the boredom that can come from playing Rhino or Elephant when you're a fully grown elder male. No one would dare attack you. Especially if you were a pair of Rhinos or a herd of Elephant. It became a tad tedious plodding from one area to the next in the hope of finding someone daft enough to tackle you. But as a juvie or sub adult, it was more fun as you would get attacked.

Ugh i had the opposite problem... tried to spawn in as a baby hippo, straight away lion got me. Fine fine, nature is brutal, so i tried again. Immediately killed again. And again. Same male lion. Just camping on spawn.

Exactly, I was once playing as a hippo in a semi realism server and literally got told to get out of the water because it is unfair for the lions wanting to hunt me. Ridiculously unrealistic and bias towards carnivores.

Man i REALLY love these kind of creature survival games. Animalia, Path of Titans, The Isle, so on... My biggest issue that always keeps me not playing for long is just the weird janky server delay with player collisions/hitboxes that make defending yourself/hunting an absolute nightmare. I totally agree with you that growing up from a helpless juvie is probably the funnest stages. Theres alot of immersion of listening, looking around, and hiding often to ensure you grow. Its just that weird jank that absolutely destroys the immersion/experience youve had up until then. I get you can kind of work around it, but man its frustrating when you cant use your eyes and senses to land a solid hit or pounce on someone because of weird and sudden rubberbanding. Whenever you experience or watch fights, you can kinda of see it, the kind of sudden stop of momentum, the slight snap backwards, or hits that FEEL like they were guaranteed to hit, but dont.

Things they should add : -roles for animals -diet system for animals ( like each specific animal should eat specific things to fill up the bars other wise it would just fill a small portion ) - more npcs to fill the environment a bit -humans should be added to the game like the isle - maybe add something like safari trucks could be npcs or normal people that drives around to see the nature etc

I used to play a lot, I played on a decently populated server, but got banned for killing too many people as a crocodile, and people were upset about that... So, the admins decided to delete my character.

Respect for the effort to sit through, and grow to an Adult in this game, also no disrespect to you or your followers. But mate, my personal opinion is that the Devs just totally neglected this game, it has not changed in the slightest, it is still full of bugs and so on and so on. Mark my words, it will not be long before a proper animal survival game shows up, such that we all deserve and this pile of steaming Rhyno dump will be forgotten.

Sounds like how the isle (dino game) has had a ton of issues (tho lots of work set back conflicts and restarts) but when path of titans came out it was what a lot of people were waiting the isle to at least get to. Now there are a few high quality dino survival games.

In reality it is rare for lions to attack things like elephants, crocs, Rhino Giraffe. '( only case i heard about lions killing Giraffe was because of there was little else to go around and two male lions hadn't left the nest and didn't help hunting. Until they were so hungry they attacked giraffe. ) So a diet system should be like this. predators can eat all meats but get buffs from these animals. main prey items like a gazelle or buffalo. Should lions find a dead rhino or croc they can eat it too ofc, if they killed it, if it is fresh, it could give a buff to hp or something unique.
