I watch your youtube videos from Canada. I was a sikh three years ago. Was just a normal atheist for first two years then got introduced to the philosophy mainly read Nietzsche, Camus, Russel and greek philosophy. I tried to read ludwig’s Tractos philosophical which was the hardest book so far. Now i am trying to read all the previous philosophy so that when im reading it for the second time it will make more sense. Now day by day experiences and viewpoints of seeing things and people changed. Anyway life is absurd so it doesn’t really matter. One just imagine Sisyphus happy!

The questions we are pondering are useless and of no value. Our questions are an escape, a quest for some ultimate answer because we want something that gives us extreme joy, but nothing from outside does. Today, we are in pain, suffering, strife, and conflict. Why not get rid of them? If we have the choice to live in peace, why live in sorrow? If we have the choice of freedom, why live in slavery?

@@creopsy these words and philosophies are just garbage of mind and proof is that does they give you real Peace, freedom from mental strife or Liberation. So, don't play with words, we are in sorrow so our First step should be toward freedom from that rather making Intellectual garbage.

@@advaita-buddha But these "intellecual garbage" or these philosophies if modified or a new thinking is developed in this may or may not provide an ultimate solution to these problems if we apply these in our lifes correctly so that the way of living can be changed by helping us to get rid of distorted thinking if we also analysis the criticism of philosophy so we can know what not to do.

@@creopsyyou are right in that way but our main problem is as it is that is suffering of life. We have our life and our life is not less then history of whole humanity, if one examine his own thought, life ,actions and all that then chances are that one can be liberated from it not by clinging to higher authority but by understanding oneself, not by attaining something but leaving what we have attained.

Bro your approach is better than most of the western people educationally because you are unbiased and you show both the pros and cons of evey philosophy in a foundational way better we should avoid superficial discussions

I found the dialectic method quite good; it is a very mature step for political theories. However, it cannot work in metaphysics or epistemology. When we pursue a metaphysical theory, we need a pure, authentic conclusion. For example, whether God exists or not. One argument might be that God exists because everything has a cause, therefore God exists. The antithesis might argue that God doesn't exist because suffering exists. No conclusive synthesis can be derived from these arguments. We could take a mature path like agnosticism, but there is a problem with it: agnostics say we cannot know God, while theists say we can. If an agnostic says we can know, then atheists would demand evidence, and the agnostic's position would shift towards theism. Ultimately, the conclusion is that synthesis is better suited for political philosophy.

I've been thinking about god by a philosophical perspective from almost 4 years by now and obviously I have no answers and evidences. If there is an all knowing supreme god then he must already knows about our questions and endless trials to know him, yet he never shows up. But it is true as well that the matter couldn't emerge out of nothingness in the space. I think the suffering for us is a claim against the presence of god cuz it is suffering for us but may be our suffering means something else to the god which is why he doesn't mind us suffering. happiness is nothing but an illusion cuz our brains are fed in fundamentally like this that some things in life naturally give us the sensation of happiness and we always think of those things as our purpose which is so silly cuz we never chose that having sex and eating good food is gonna make us happy and those are examples of things which we chase all our lives without even choosing them as the sources of happiness for ourselves. We are trapped. beyond any other philosophy this is the most important matter to be thought about for any human being right now. If happiness also is just an illusion and a bait for us to do what nature wants from us then we should stop running behind it and rather think what should we do about being here, why are we even here. is being healthy and reproducing all that nature wants from us ????????????? Are we really just a mistake ???????? and if we are or are not what can we do about it ??????????

What little survived of Hegel is his dialectic in a materialist philosophical framework , and that too is presented in a truncated structure of thesis , antithesis and synthesis , which is disparate from the logical terms in which Hegel sees his metaphysics functioning . His essence lies in his metaphysics which deteriorated with the end of German idealism. A video lecture may give a vague glimpse into his philosophical framework , but is bound to be completely meagre to decode his metaphysics.

I think hegel thinks two mutually opposing things/therories which should become friends (thises and antithises) and make one desion which is somewhat not contradicting both and brings out a new opnion about that theory which is somewhat different but linked to that theory only so that the people who says the theory of both the sides will think that what he said is correct because again it is not cotradinting their theories/opinion which helps the society to grow up . And again the thesis or antithesis can be correct instead of synithesis.
