I love this! I like the idea of how the world is depicted in the show, being all bright, friendly, and clean versus a sort of dark, grungy, and bloody reality. It would be cool to see more dark twists like this on children's shows. Like how pyro-vision works in the TF2 shorts.

A good scene you can draw is when that one evil lady turns everyone into stone, like they try and run away as they're being turned to stone, and that evil lady is on a hill looking down at them trying to escape or something

I really liked this one, both your cringe/reaction at the cuteness and the picture that came from it. Watching you speedpaint something somber like that with a calm, almost sad beat to it was relaxing, if not slightly depressing in a way (in a good way mind you... Dunno how the hell depression is good, it's not, but whatever). Song was great btw, awesome choice. You know what? I think you could make a lot more stuff like this from MLP. Taken the right way a lot of the stuff in it is pretty messed up. Later episodes have stuff like using a special body of water to nullify emotions and their voices (while kicking out the only one that still could, driving her to be extremely lonely and somewhat insane), tricking an entire town into becoming nothing short of mental zombies by stripping away all their individuality while the person behind it all keeps their own, twisting the Mane 6 into almost polar opposites of themselves which leads to so much hurt and tearing their close friendships apart, the fruit bat episode can be twisted up pretty good, Nightmare Night episodes (only 2 of them I think?) could be twisted easily, the episode where the two sisters switch their marks (specifically the nightmare that comes from it near the end) could even be animated in your way... And I know there's even more messed up episodes out there. Just a thought.
