I have never had yellow murag pulaw made of basmati rice . Turmeric is not added in murag pulaw and it is best when cooked with kalijira chawal . Most of all the prominent ingredient is Bangladeshi water . It's quite impossible to get authentic Bangladeshi flavor in India .

I love Dosa and hydrabadi biriyani. I think when you compare Kolkata food with Bangladeshi food, it is a good competition as both are similar. But comparing Indian food with Bangladeshi food, there is no comparison. Hands down Indian food wins too much variety.
