Dane here!😊Ole and steen/Lagkagehust is danish - as well as Søstrene grene😉The snowman and the Christmas tree “marshmallows” are called “Flødeboller”, and is a classic danish treat. They come in various different flavors and prices, but the classic is just chocolate covered, maybe with coconut. So fun to watch you try things from my country!❤️

Taste testing is ultimately down to personal preference. A few months ago I met with a friend for brunch - we had the exact same meals. I really enjoyed it and would eat it again, my friend not so, she didn't enjoy it. I just like that you try everything and give me hints to try myself.
@pinkheart31511 ай бұрын
Could also be the fault of a bad batch that day. Like that one day all the food just wasn't good 😂 To be fair even my favourite local restaurants have a bad day where the food isn't good that day but next time I order it again and tastes good. Like grace said the oil seemed to have sit for long it seems for the donuts and there was no gravy with the sandwich. But what do I know! May really not be good. I'm just glad you liked the food and had a wonderful time 😊

Your reviews are certainly not too harsh. I'm frequently in London for the past 10 years and I always check out many viral places and I would say 50% of them are trash, 20% meh, 10% nobody ever needs that, 5% maybe good. I always ask other people who are eating something from that place if they like what they eat and people always straight away tell you if it's meh or shit 😂
@Elwene2fr11 ай бұрын
I don't think you're harsh with the comments. I'd rather have the feedback of someone like you who knows when it's bad and can explain why (which you do everytime) than someone who says it's good but cannot say why (because usually the reason is that they have a "dobermann palate" as we say in French)
@annasophieb.73411 ай бұрын
taste tests are always so funny to me cause they’re so subjective. i like chocolate on it’s own but not chocolate flavored things like ice cream, cake, croissants and such, it’s theee most basic flavor there is to me. so ultimately you never know who to trust, yk?😂 edit: that snowman marshmallow thing looks adorable, love it when brands/shops get creative for the holidays
@annep805911 ай бұрын
Omg yes same!! No one ever really understands but I think exactly the same of chocolate. Love me some chocolate on its own but you can keep the ice cream and cake.

so dunkin originated in my home state, and you are right about the coffee being sweet. there are a few things about dunks in massachusetts: first, when someone orders a "coffee regular" here, that means with cream and sugar. i read somewhere that in a medium (14oz) that would be 3 creams, 3 sugars. and that is just the regular, no added syrups or anything. second, dunkin coffee girls drink iced coffee year round. over here. they have used (don't know if they still do cause i don't go there anymore) styrofoam cups for hot coffee, but in the winter they are used as sleeves for iced coffee. gotta keep those hands warm while drinking icy drinks in icy weather. third, unlike krispy kreme and, from what can tell from your videos, your country, we enjoy a cake donut in massachusetts. one i hated as a kid is now one of my favs, the blueberry glazed cake donut. yum

@MissDollyDimples11 ай бұрын
I don’t think you are harsh, just quite specific in what you like. You are fairly fussy with your textures and taste & it shows whenever you eat in vlogs. Food and drink is a weird one.. so subjective. I think a lot of these viral foods are very pretty to look at, but that’s about it.

Last year I got some cakes and cookies and my brothers, mom and I we all tried the stuff and it was dry and over the top sweet. With no flavor to it. I would rather that you give it to us all straight (as is your style) whether something is worth it or not. London is expensive enough, so if I want to try nice things that are a little bougie, I want to not feel mugged off by a subpar product. Treat yourself not cheat yourself! Re: Christmas dinner ramen - I think the pigs in blankets should be oversized and sliced into coins (feels more 'right' for a ramen topping). They were definitely missing a trick with not having some brussels. As for the noodles - it may have been fun to experiment with the Yorkshire pudding here as a noodle -> thinking like Chinese Gluten or like Indian Chappathi noodles. That being said it does bring you further away from the essence of a ramen - bouncy alkaline noodles, broth, tare and oil. Which then leads to the point of - is it actually worth it in the end? Probably not... may as well eat a good, competently done meal in a Christmas jumper/Christmassy setting with seasonal snacks - e.g. lebkuchen etc and call it a day!
