Part of the McDonald’s coffee story is that it was hot, but the main part that most people miss is that the coffee was so hot it fused her skin together. So it’s not just that the coffee was hot, but also that she was seriously injured because of it. Thought I’d share!

That McDonalds coffee on the lap thing was spun by McDonalds to make the woman seem ridiculous, the truth is the coffee was actually being held at molten lava level temperatures and when she spilled it on her private area it caused third degree burns that required skin grafts, something that is not possible if the coffee was held at normal temperatures.

I've been in several law classes that have said that the McDonalds coffee incident was not superfluous. The coffee was far too hot for consumption in any way. It was beyond dangerous, and she got severe burns in her crotch. They literally had to regulate their machines to not get water too hot for something to be reasonably consumed. That was a fair lawsuit. It just was. Period.

Love their baked potatoes. That burger and frosty sound great. Please look into the facts on the lawsuit by the lady with the hot coffee. The truth might surprise you. But the short version is, coffee was way hotter than it is supposed to be. The lady, who was elderly, had such bad burns that she required hospitalization She only sued for her medical expenses, because McDonald's only offered her a token amount. The jury and or judge decided to add on for pain and suffering. It's been taken out of context in the news.

The salted caramel Frosty seems to have replaced Vanilla while the promotion is going on. I was kinda bummed because I have some fresh strawberry preserves at home I wanted to mix in and make something like the old McDonald's sundae. Instead I got a chocolate Frosty and added blueberries. It was excellent.😎

I have to admit that’s a pretty good idea with the chili cheese onto a burger. Maybe i will just get some Wendy’s canned chili and put that on a homemade burger. Or even funnier on a whopper from Burger King. To be fair about some people complaining about the caramel, some companies use like a fake tasting caramel or some that mostly only tastes of just sugar. Heck some caramel i have had tastes burnt and nasty.

King. My dude. You are completely wrong about the McDonalds hot coffee story. Liebeck v. McDonalds was not a frivolous lawsuit from a woman trying to get rich because she went ouchy at some warm coffee. Nobody expects to be handed a BOILING hot cup of coffee like she was, and when it spilled on her, she got third degree burns and had to get a skin graft on her genitals. That cup of coffee literally destroyed her life and she deserved every penny and a whole lot more (she was awarded less than a million dollars). In fact her initial lawsuit only asked for $20,000, which didn't even cover her medical expenses. McDonalds refused the offer and went to court. The result of that lawsuit wasn't just a label with a warning. They stopped serving coffee at 190 degrees because it would have certainly resulted in many more injuries.

You are right, I don't get bacon at places because it is soggy more often than not! I was thrilled when I found out that the Hardest bacon on the breakfast biscuits was crispy i Just get a chili and dip the burger. Butter contains milk. But I don't blame them for recalling. The butter thing is really dumb, but also it makes sense. Some butter or substitutes are made from hydrogenated oils, so they don't contain lactose. That might be part of it since someone could reasonably infer that since milk isn't listed, it was made from hydrogenated oils and is safe to consume
