My channel has 45 subscribers, but I make purist videos that come from my soul and emotions. Guess I agree more with Rubin's sentiment. I think if you make art for your self, that is the ultimate selfless act, simply bc the audience who can resonate with your work, can connect that much deeper with it, bc ultimately all of us are essentially the same deep down. That's my thought on this
