So, the lineart that you see in the video isn't actually the one in the final piece. Long story short, SAI glitched on me and merged the sketch with the lineart! D: so sad.. so I had to re-lineart it. It took 1 hour to lineart it in the first place.. I have evidence in the video that I didn't lineart ON the sketch! This is crazy. SAI, pls don't do this again. k thx.
So this an ex friend's character, Tryx! I know he looks a lot like Flame from Spyro but he's not :) this took about 5 hours all up and it was frustrating having to redo the lineart and all, but I am glad I stuck to it.
Before I finished this speedpaint, I discovered the horrible news that one of my favourite singers passed away, 22 year old Christina Grimmie. She was shot in the head at one of her concerts, while signing autographs. She was one of my idols. I am still so devastated. It's still sinking in, really. So this is why I have put all Chistina Grimmie songs in this video in honour of her. I will miss her so much, goodbye gorgeous girl :'(
