How strong is the bottom bar? I understand it's supposed to force the axle to stay parallel with the bumper when launching at the drag strip but what happens on the street when the rear needs to articulate? Like when you drive one wheel between a speed bump and one on.

Does the bar fit directly under the rear, because I have a drain there. Did you have to grind open the mounts for the axle tubes?
