TS Intrepid's Band and Fanfare displays 2010

TS Intrepid's 2010 performances in the Nautical Training Corps National Band, Colour & Fanfare Competition. Our band performed twice in this year's competition: a fanfare display of the fanfare "Intrepid", and a marching band routine in Contest Class. This year's band routine included a variety of marching music, including A Life On The Ocean Waves, Pirates of the Caribbean, American Patrol, and Royal Marines' favourite - the second movement of Gibraltar.
The fanfare achieved 3rd place. The band performance achieved four awards: Best Dress and Turnout, best Drum Major in Contest Class, Best Mallet Section, and Second Place (Contest Class) overall - our best ever placement.
