Your perspective is understood! I am not for Jess losing her job at all. However, Angela and Loren are committed journalists, bringing depth and insight to their work. Jess needs to elevate her approach! She must research and engage with the essential questions surrounding her topics. Often, she appears aloof and tends to gloss over important points, reflecting a lack of familiarity with the subjects. I initially attributed my concerns to the pregnancy. Hopefully, she will improve upon her return.

The reason the breakfast club used to work is because you had two dummies and one straight man. Charlemagne is the one that is gonna ask jarring questions. Envy sits there and acts clueless. Angela Yee was the journalist, very smart and articulate however over time Angela Yee kinda lost her voice over there, that’s why she got her own show and has been killing it. Charlamagne and Envy chose Jess because they wanted a woman who’s dumber than them so now they could look like the old wise men now. But Loren has came in with that true journalism and you see how she really controls an interview. I don’t think they will hire her because they don’t want a smart host, they had plenty of smart hosts to choose from but they went with the ignorant dummy. Breakfast club doesn’t listen to their audience that’s why they aren’t poppin like they used to. It’s time for a complete recasting over there anyways because Charlamagne and Envy are out of touch and they’re only getting older and less relevant. It’s different when you’re an actual journalist doing research but they don’t.
