I like how in the original game sans theme is called 'sans.' so this one is called 'PAPYRUS!!!' plus its a cute detail they added that extended part that can only be heard in the trailer version of bonetrousle

i bet in the papyrus fight in ruthless theres gonna be parts, the first one being where its just papyrus, where he regrets fighting you. the second part being where sans appears and tells papyrus what happens, then a third part, where sans dies and papyrus no longer holds back (im aware on how much that sounded like that one at where sans and papyrus jump you but sans dies i forgot the name)

His depiction is kinda flat for me but still an amazing character, ts!underswap is very peak, I just wish they expanded more onto Papy like they did with Asgore and Sans

He still has yet to shine in Crystal Springs. Given his comparable role to sans in Snowdin, he likely wasn't intended to have too much of a role yet.

I mean ... The game is 2 sections long at this point. In canon UT Sans gets developed over the full course of the game, like in MTT Resort and especially the Judgement Hall. Papyrus has a full game's worth of time to show more of his character, it'll be fine Besides, I'm honestly kinda already happy with what we already have of him. It's classic Papyrus, but in a new role with new things to do thanks to the shift in character roles. It's an interesting take so far, imo, and I'm excited to see what Team Switched has in store for him in the future of the game

I reckon there's going to be more opportunity for him to shine in later chapters considering he's taking on Sans' role; it'll be interesting to see how he reacts to the player further down the genocide, pacifist and all other routes.
