@@gengargamer5657No, "A Special Feeling" was still used in Starlight Isles when the kill count was exhausted. "Ruthless" was used during the sequence where Chara was cornering the Boogiemen since its this is probably this game's version of "In My Way"

hearing "YOUR BEST NIGHTMARE" in this music makes me think if Flowey might have a bigger role in the whole story and not just an artifact of the original Underswap. And i know this might be a stretch, but maybe, instead of Temmie, Monster Kid is actually Flowey

I don’t think it’s a stretch at all. The game notes that human bodies are distinct from human SOULs, and draws an explicit parallel between monsters turning to dust and humans being cremated. So it’s likely that Frisk and the six humans were cremated and ended up in the Temmies the same way Asriel turned to dust in Asgore’s garden and ended up in a flower. That would leave Monster Kid as Flowey, though I agree that he’s probably going to play a more unique role since the Temmies already fill Flowey’s role in the original story.

I absolutely LOVE how this song is the complete opposite of undertale's original rendition. In undertale, you hear the song "In My Way" instead when you encounter Monster Kid and Flowey, 2 characters who stand in your path. This one though? It's the complete opposite, you're going DIRECTLY out of your way to find Harry and Larry, they want to avoid you at all costs. The fact that the song is just called "ruthless" is also pretty fitting, ruthless in this case is used for the fact that you are hunting them down, nothing is telling you to go attack them, it's just you, compared to Undertale's "In My Way" that is used to show that these 2 characters are standing between you and your quest to reach the absolute.
