Ts16 Leica magic secret stake out point in 2D and 3D turn automatically!

How to turn ts16 Leica automatically to point, stake out in 2d or 3d. Colleagues has asked me before if I can turn it automatically using the robotics and when I showed them they were happy because it save half of the time when marking points. The Instrument turn itself automatically and the angle is set in 2d and we have to go up and down only to find the point!

Hi Vince, great video! I want to ask you which way you use usually to mark grid lines. Do you get points marked using the laser in reflectless mode, using a mini prism or 360 prism? Za ranee blagodaren.

Hello buddy, Grid lines usually depends of the situation. If I am alone and have mini 360 prizm or mini round one I use them on lowest possible setting to be more accurate. If I have someone with me I use to stick a retro target on precut small square piece of plywood and the helper hold it for me where I point the laser. Then I tell him which way he has to move- to me for example 5,7,10 millimetres or to him. When we reach 0 mil I tell him to mark it.

Should do as both are robotic instruments. But can not be 100% sure if I don't try first. You can give it a go and let me know.
