I'm waiting mor my KTN. If this works out good, I might do Global Entry after the first 5 years. I'll be almost retired by that time and plan to travel internationally (I was in Paris for my 59th birthday and Cairo for my 60th). My late mom was a travel agent...I think that's where I got my love of exploring exotic destinations. I go to SFO for spring break to see my grand niece...can't wait!!!!!

Hi! I’m new to traveling. Been finding videos like these very helpful. Thanks for sharing! Never would’ve thought about having a TSA precheck interview at a chiropractor’s office. Might seem like a silly question, I assume they want to see the original passport (if I choose to use my passport) for identification purposes and make a copy of it? If I apply for TSA precheck and don’t get approved in a short time, I should still have my original passport with me while my application is pending? Having worked as college admin staff I’ve been though the fingerprinting and background check stuff before, so I imagine I probably won’t run into any troubles, but apparently sometimes it can take weeks for some people to get approved.

$85 per person? How many days AFTER the appointment till you got your KTN?

Did they make you take your cap off?

I don’t recall if they made me take it off or if I just took it off myself. I’ll test it on the next flight and let you know for sure.
