I love this deck and play it a lot (with some differences). A few points. 1.) One of the things I like best (and the reason I wouldn't play Elkid with it) is the way it *doesn't* take prize cards until the end--so a lot of the time your opponent is bench-locked. This is great with lost boxes: they can't get out those late game Sableyes. But it's true with others too. 2. One of your worst enemies is Switch Cart, so I would say go after evolved Pokemon when possible rather than basics. LDF attacked a Delphox V where I would have attacked one of the Charizard ex's. 3.) If Radiant Tsareena shows up, just forget it. Love this deck, love your vids, watch them a lot.

With evolution decks, we normally want to go first, and you went 2nd but won all those matches regardless due to Tsareena ex not caring if it falls behind on prizes due to the lock.

Most evolution TM strats start 2nd even if they dont have a board lock, sometimes a 1 prize offset doesnt matter that much when full of stage 2s, while some single prize decks just have to take a KO on a V or ex to catch up again on the prize trade (eg. gardevoir, just catches up with reversal energy, and yes that makes it weak against faster single prizes) But indeed board lock is one of the best plays for starting 2nd

Thanks for sharing, this deck is so fun! Panic mask with Tsareena is such a brilliant combo. I'm considering making a turbo 4/4 line Tsareena deck with 4 panic masks, a bunch of supporters for grabbing tools/ rare candies as quick as possible. Use a ton of deck thinning cards like Treking Shoes, Cramomatics, Pokegears etc. to try and pull off that first Tsareena hit crazy quick. Maybe have Mimikyu or something similar in there as a 1 prize sacrifice to hopefully slow things down for worst case setup. Would need 1 Braviary as well. Possibly even a Sqwakabily for speeding things up even further. Collapsed Stadium could be cool potentially. I'm not sure if it would be as good without Vanilluxe, but getting your opponent turbo damage locked seems really fun.

Took 3rd at a small locals with this same idea. I was rushing to put it together before it started but none the less went fairly well at 3-1-0 with the only loss being to hard brick.

went 2-1 at locals when this card came out, pretty good with both vanilluxe and panic mask. only loss was against chien pao in last round but i won't give up to make this deck broken

I wanted to thank you for the first tsareena deck. It gaves me back the envy to play again. I stopped for a while because of the massive meta decks Charizard and Gardevoir. Either you played one of those or you were destroyed and this deck allows to play a different way and still manage to beat those strong decks. So thanks a lot.

That's the massive drawback of playing online. Even if you choose casual play 99% of the time you will encounter meta decks. I'm currently switching between turbo lost box, lost Tina and Miraidon but it gets bringt extremöey fast 🫤

Having the Pokemon league headquarters. I put that in ky deck last night. It really helps against the fast big basics decks out there who can attack t1. But i only run one. Because i use the evo tm to get ky board setup against the devo tm. Which i might end up putting in the devo tm too since it can devo all there evos. In one attack that i want to. Even ones with 30hp left To get multiple kos

A potion? I have only heard rumors that those things exist. Are you SURE you were not mistaken. 😂 As useless as those are normally, they would be deadly for this deck. Especially the newer Picnic Basket that heals all pokemon in the game.

@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast Dyna Tree Hill is a mandatory addition for a Tsareena ex deck imo. some decks can heal off by using Switch Cart or Cheryl; Dyna Tree Hill allows you to prevent those effects.

Not sure if it's a better option, but you could use Elkid instead of Braviary. It won't take 6 prizes at once but could keep your opponent from healing or evolving up if they're deck is moving a little slower. It could free up room in the deck a little for a few other cards and while it only has 30hp. Don't bench it till your ready to. But free retreat and free attack to do 30 damage to 1 of your opponents pokemon isn't bad.

I tried this before and found that taking 6 prizes at once is much better. There's a lot of benefit to forcing your opponents bench to stay full of damaged pokemon.

With the new season I finally completed the deck I wanted to try out for so much time, that is another water stage two from paradox rift: garchomp ex, but with a twist. I mean who likes that cheesy lucario anyway? I threw there ting lu ex, the new groudon and terrakion (idk where it's from) and I must say it's not bad at all. The matchup against miraidon is kinda bad but it's not a 100% loss, you definitely gotta get a bit lucky tho. But except that, I think its matchup spread is quite good. Definitely not a deck for a high level tournaments but good for locals, especially if they lack miraidon

Tsareena ex is by far my favorite card to build around from Paradox Rift. My deck list focuses more on using Tsareena (no Vanilluxe), with a single prize option and more control with 4x counter catcher as well. I love the Thorton for Rufflet/Braviary! I had the same idea with my deck too!

There are a few different ways to build this deck. All of them good. This deck should win tournaments more. Be played at the top tier meta tournaments I dont see many counters to this deck..and my deck list has a few tech's for those counters .ill post my list asap

Vanilluxe is better than the mask because it stops them from attacking period ..unlike the mask only stops damage and roaring moon ex can just use it's first attack to get around it .

Well good thing about panic mask is that it helps in the early game before you get him set up

Panic mask blocks damage but not effects, so the opponent can still use moves for board development or drawing Also KOs (eg roaring moon), damage counters (eg sableye) are effects so they can bypass panic mask Opponents can also snipe or gust the bench which might not have panic mask equipped Vanilluxe completely stops them from attacking, so whats stated above would not be possible For some matchups tho vanilluxe isnt that necessary and panic mask is just the faster option

Snorlax doesnt really have a way to get around panic mask tsareena ex as long as nothing else benched And since the deck isnt taking KOs, snorlax cant counter catcher and boss would be their only option to stall, so they probs wont be able to pull off the stall consistently anyways even if you had to bench something at the start of the game Also, in case they really can pull off the stall and no switches left you can thorton for bounsweet or rufflet Not that bad a matchup, just a gamble whether you find your cards or they mill them away

@@dragonsigner Thats indeed one of the simplest solutions but since snorlax mills your deck, in combination with hand disruptions it may take out some of your quick win options resulting in higher chance to lose to deckout Also just gotta have to consider the possibility that you dont start with a bounsweet and have to play something else, Or benching something turn 1 before realizing its snorlax matchup (definitely dont wanna be completely undeveloped against a deck thats not snorlax :P)
