I'm glad that u have become a Christian n give your life to God. But as a Christian we have to forgive in order for you n your daughter to have peace n joy again u both have to forgive him what he has done to u n her especially her... u say u trust God completely but seems like u n your daughter still hold grudges against him n your daughter seems to hold grudges about just every man she sees she needs to let go n put God in her faith n learn to see that not every man will harm her. I work in Child Protective Services and I see this type of stories too often. I still am in shock every time I hear stories like this especially within our Hmong communities. I’m happy that you protected your daughter. I hope your daughter over come this tragedy and I hope she is doing well and better. Please get the help (counseling) needed for her.

Being a hmong girl....as a child my mom taught us all the red flags, what to do, what not to do when it comes to other men and even my own biological father. She's implemented these into our heads we can protect ourselves from any evil men with bad intententions. All mothers should teach these to their kids, regardless of gender or age.

I’m glad you got your daughter out from that evil monster. If you turn blind eye he’ll go after your younger daughter too. It’s ok being single as long as you can protect them. There still a lot of good man out there so just be strong. If you too desperate for a men you might be blind by love and can’t protect your kid. It is the duty of the parents and the community as a whole to protect these young children and help them grow up to become healthy adults. Protect children at all cost whether it is a son or a daughter. They don't deserve to experience such traumas that will scar them for life.

Hmong families they will always support their son even if he committed the crime. This I hate most. For example; my husband and his brother got into an altercation and the brother took out a gun and pointed at my husband in front of my two kids. He call the police but he don’t want to press charge -and don’t even want to prosecute his half brother at all. He don’t even want to go to court.
