9:29 when ruby is talking about that whole suicidal culture it's more ironically than a flex because they were blamed for years for talking about suicidal things and that it will influence a lot of people to do bad things but surprisingly it helped a lot of people to see that they were not alone and it brought more positive than negative. You will see lot of fans saying that they couldn't make it without them and their music and it's the same for the boys, without music they are saying themselves that they couldn't make it through life. Edit : and also at every shows, Scrim make a speech about the fact that they are grateful forever to their fans and also telling them that they are not alone and if they need help, they have to ask for help.

Love that you're getting exposed to the boys. Just wanna clarify for you since you're new to them, when they discuss drugs in anything post 2018 they are talking about past actions/addictions/urges, they are both clean except Ruby still smokes weed. In my opinion, their best album is the one right after they both went to rehab- Stop Staring at the Shadows. It's a no skip for me, fucking love that album. People tend to say their older stuff is better, but in reality it's just far more raw and emotional, which is a good thing, but I love them clean and healthy now. I highly recommend checking out older stuff like 'High Tide' and 'My Liver will Handle what my Heart Can't' just to have a perspective on their older side and what they were dealing with mentally and emotionally, their best work pre rehab might be 'Eternal Grey' honestly. And the term Grey comes from a group/gang in New Orleans from their youth, basically saying color doesn't matter and life isn't black and white, you can watch the podcast they did with Theo Von and they explain it a little more. The Boys have a lot of lore and history to them if you can't tell lol. I just watched them live last week when they kicked off their tour in Nashville, 3rd year in a row for me, loved them since 2016 and I'm happy to see someone else get exposed. Keep up the great vids, sorry for the long comment just wanted to assist.
