Kuv niam tais passed away in 2022 on Mother's Day, and kuv pog passed away after New Years Day this year, and it was devastating between both sides of my family. Grandparents will always love and care about their grandkids. I miss both of my grandmothers a lot too. Their love and last words before passing away will forever remain in my heart. Thanks for the song!

My favorite part of the lyric is when Grandma says, "If you're going get one ear pierced, why not get two piercings to match?" 😅 Grandma definitely got your back! Such a touching song and tribute to your grandma! I recently lost my grandma in July. I can only wish to see her in my dreams now. 😢 For those who still have one or both grandparents in your life, cherish and love them to the fullest. ❤

My pog loved me so much. I was just a kid and didn't know how to love her back enough. She passed when I was only 12 years old. I cry when I think about the moments she protected me and comforted me or when she just wanted me to be around her. I didn't get to love her enough.

Truly resonated with this song as I, too, had a very similar, special and very close relationship with my maternal grandparents - both of whom are no longer with us. Growing up with a single mother, I lived in and out of their home and learned most of what I know about life from them. Losing my gpa in 2017 was the first true heartbreak I've ever felt, followed by my gma in 2019. I still cry when I think about them and miss them everyday.
@ChuaXiongАй бұрын
Instant tears. I never had the chance to experience a relationship with my maternal or paternal grandparents, but this resonated deeply because we hold so much love and respect for our elders. It made me long to have known my grandmothers, but that opportunity wasn’t in the cards for me. Thank you for touching our hearts. We can truly feel the love you have for your grandma.

Wow...what an impeccable timing for this song to come out. Was just in Crescent City for a funeral and also my Pog that was buried out there in 2002. I never had a chance to go to her funeral, cause I was busy chasing life. Comes full circle and I miss her so much! Dropped to my knees and tears of her all coming rushing back... 😢 Happy and sad at the same time. It has gave me solace to be at a place I should of been 22yrs ago. Forgive me my Pog... Blia Vang Lee... May you rest in paradise...❤ Your son finally found solace and peace. 🙏 Thank you Shong Lee.. For this wonderful story and may you find peace as well.🙏✌ I got to meet you in St Paul in 2019! Thank you and keep up your passion cause it heals our hearts...❤

Growing up without parents in my early life, my grandparents filled that role of being my parents to make sure I was filled with love. My grandma sadly passed away 2023 and I felt like I lost a bit of myself. I made a lot of excuses to not visit her grave but in reality I was just scared to go through those feelings of when I watched my grandma draw her last breathe. Thank you for this song. I will go visit her now
@00ninja002 ай бұрын
Me too. I lost my mom Jan 2023. For over a year, I made excuse not to visit. I’m her baby, and I definitely lost a big part of me. For the whole year it’s like I’m a zombie walking around with no siab ntsw. For Mother’s Day I went to see her, it hurt so much, she’s laid next to my dad, and for the past 10 years I would take my momma to go see my dad, this time, I went alone, and both of them are there, and this time I return alone without my momma like past 10 years. 😢
