As a person who has been learning Hindustani classical music since childhood and someone who loves western music as well, this album is pure bliss for me and is literally making me cry tears of satisfaction and happiness, I had great expectations from this album and it definitely delivered... western ho ya classical, in the end, Sur hi Parmaatma hai ❤

Shankar Ehsan Loy created a masterpiece album for Season 1, but you can't ignore that Season 2's album is a masterpiece as well! I have chills listening to every track! So excited to hear all these songs in the show as well!

The first season was a bit more rooted in classical music Second season looks like it's gonna diversify a bit....the songs are good, but I personally feel thrown off by the vibe....

@@cocakoala97 I get it, but the soundtrack for this season definitely needs to be more diverse since season 2 takes place in a singing competition entirely. Whereas season 1 only had a competition at the final episode. Tamannah's character represents modern music, so they can't only include classical music in the competition.

I found only Nirmohia + Saavan Mohe Tarasaaye (somewhat classical) and Yaahin Rahio Sa (semiclassical and folk combined) suit my interest, but I can understand others may find more of this a good listen.

Loving this album so much! This is even richer and more diverse than Season 1 album. Shankar Ji is like divine voice of course, but every artist has done wonders in the album. Love it that it retains mitti ki khushbu in all the tracks. Such a treat.

Good but could not bring the impact what Season 1 music did, specially songs like Garaj Garaj, Lab Par aye, Dhara Hogi, a whole new Padharo Mare Des and ofcos the Virah. Also, its really very difficult to beat Season 1 music anyway. Still the album looks good - "Sur Hi Parmaatma", “Saavan Mohe”, "Araj “ 👌

Siddharth Mahadevan and Soumil Shingarpure are part of Shankar Mahadevan's family. So some influence is bound to be there. Also the composers have made new version of season 1 songs Garaj Garaj and Jheeni Jheeni.

It was a terrible decision to not have Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy on board again. Had this been any other series, it wouldn’t have been that big a deal, because these songs are pretty good too. But in a series the very plot of which revolves around music, it’s plain stupid to suddenly change the music composers. Their style, vibe, and tones can’t be replicated. Keep in mind that I’m not saying these compositions aren’t good. They are. But music lovers will know at once that something has drastically changed in the Rathore family’s techniques.

As a classical music student and lover too, I really appreciated the previous album, I don't know why but this album is just about the rock music ??? I mean the traditional bandish also converted into rock music with the aggressive voice. Like in jheeni jheeni, why is there a aggression in singer's voice and specially while pronouncing sunta hai guru ??? Some songs i really liked like araj, sawan mohe tarsaye etc. I don't know why there is so much rock touch in this album but let see the series to come then it will be more relatable that is it really worth it or not Well I am a huge fan of bandish bandits 🔥🔥🔥 so much excited 😅
