I think Anuskha exemplified the spirit of 1920s swing and was very much in character. Which is why it seems like it feels awkward watching her with 21st century eyes, knowing how dance has evolved up to now. On the other hand, you watch Priyanka dancing like a modern person would dance but with the steps of 1920s swing, it feels awkward if you know how 1920s swing actually looks like. But then Priyanka pulls it off because of the confidence and Joie de vivre behind the performance.

Watch her childhood video clips 'Meri Awaz Suno' where Lata Mangeshkar was judge . It was just that Shreya sings mostly romantic numbers and she has conventional classical voice , so people think that she is the only one who can sing classical songs . There are equally talented singers like Shreya who are even classically trained such as Monali Thakur and Palak but they are not given equal opportunities . Everyone knows how music industries work , you take away other's work in order to survive .
