But the best singer is some1 ,who gives a feel and depth to a song ,who sings with his heart and gives the feel only with voice and not through expressions. For example ,listen to the song - Ye jeevan hai by kishore kumar or Tadap tadap ke by KK ,tu hi re by hariharan ,Likhe jo khat tujhe by Mohd. Rafi ,Ae kaash ki hum by kumar sanu. They are not doing any harqateein (like sonu nigam) and look at the feel they give to their songs by just their voice. Sonu nigam many a times overdo the expressions and ruin the feel of the song.

@Jagdamba Mishra yes ,sonu nigam has some very good songs. That's why I feel he is a very good singer. Also ,songs I mentioned are not to tell about the greatness of these singers but are just for comparative analysis that how many very good singers are there who give such a great feel to the songs they sing. To be honest ,Sonu nigam may have 1 of the best voices of bollywood but he couldn't give such depth and feel to his voice like some other singers have given in some songs. He used to be the best singer of his time whem he sung songs like deewana tera ,ab mujhe raat din ,is kaar pyaar hai ,hume jab se mohabbat ,mujhe raat din ,etc. but lately his voice has become more stylish and less in emotions and depth. He always overexpresses with his voice now and couldn't keep the feelings suble.

Listening to this song after a long long time after knowing that it was also used in Slumdog Millionaire... This song took me to 2006-07 days.... I remember I watched DON on DD National and its climax was not shown.. Probably to give it a happy ever after ending... Later when I watched it on Star Utsav, I got to know the actual ending of the film... I was kind of sad(as I was a child then and was used to happy endings) and mind blown at the same time...
