@@johnathanwick2039 The thing is most of them today buy into what's trending and popular. KK is neither. For 15+ years, had to dig in to find his songs and that process has only been fruitful. He sang a spectrum of genres - my fav Jab Kabhi is a jazz with rock production(sadly the majority of them would never know) or songs like Chahoon tujhe/Yaad mein teri aksar which are as good as a Kya mujhe pyar hain, so many of 'em are in limbo. His feel, voice modulation, celestial voice & versatility are top notch. People would have celebrated so much more only if He was glued on TV/social media, but unfortunately and in some ways fortunately has never been His style.

I also like songs like, hai ishq yeh kya ik khata (same level as bas ek pal) Are are are (kk voice in this is just purest) Rose of my heart Kaise bataoon is popular but i still think it is underrated because if you try to sing it you would know that KK is out of league for any modern singer. He was sitting on the top at a level no one can even see, rest aside reaching it.
