I remember watching this movie in theatre. Word was out that's it's a good film but we didn't know the suspense when we went to watch. The theater was full. Everyone was enjoying the film. Talking, laughing, commenting until the music got tense & Aditya revealed the secret. Now people stopped talking & started watching curiously. I remember heard startled expressions, gasp at 2:09:30. After that complete silence. Everyone was mesmerized by what was happening on screen. Vidya's acting in particular had made that intense. The silence broke only when the director's name finally appeared. People were prasing movie & promising to watch it again

When I first saw it back in '07, I presumed it was a full on comedy as it was directed by priyadarshan sir who is top of his work with his fav Paresh and Akshay. But only after watching it and feeling how intensely this horror mystery was executed, simply remarkable. Havent seen the teaser of bb2 but I can rightly say, would be no match to the original. But i do appreciate Kartik Aryans hard work but Akshay is akshay
