"Oh my lovely lalana" was a Javali originally written by Karur Sivaramayya (probably during the time of British in early 1800s). The javali was special as it is a Telugu traditional javali but starts with English lyrics as "Oh my lovely lalana.. Elane pommmanti". Perhaps he foresaw the future of the songs and mixed up two languages :) The javali and this song also goes in the same raga Kharaharapriya. It's good that the composers are bringing those numbers back and it will also be great if we can know and credit the roots of the song.
