Hats off to Norbu Sahaab, a remarkable leader who stands as an inspiration within this minority community. All of Ladakh is aware of how the Kargil majority has treated the minority Buddhists. Despite living in a democratic country, various orthodox religious practices continue to target minority people. The time has come for justice. It is the right of every individual who has endured suffering to voice their genuine demands in a democratic society. Thank you to all the members present here for becoming the voice of innocent minority individuals who have long been silent and have only known endurance.

If you think this is nonsense, ask your society why they still practice this ill minded untouchability against minorities. Such discrimination, inequality, and injustice exist only in Kargil. Nowhere else in the Muslim country such outdated practices followed. This is the root cause of the problems. You might say, "Hamein chain se jeene do" , because you’re enjoying your comfort. No one likes to disrupt their own ease. But if you are truly educated, don’t think only about your comfort. Think about others and about creating equality in society.
