A tip for you: if you want to throw an item such as the Poison Mushroom or Fireball backwards, you need to hit the item button while NOT holding the accelerator.

There's always a character that's not in a game. Waluigi wasn't in Mario Kart 7. Bowser Jr. wasn't in Mario Kart 8.
