Finally, after so many years Donkey Kong is no longer the only Donkey Kong character in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!! He’s now joined by Diddy Kong and Funky Kong!!

People's main complaint is no more new characters from DKC, like Cranky and KRool. Not to mention Warioware. Besides, we should also argue that Funky has not appeared in any other Mario sport game on the current console system.

Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong and Funky Kong have joined Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. In the next Mario Kart game in the next gen Nintendo console, Mario Kart 9 on Nintendo Switch 2, I hope Nintendo will add - Donkey Kong Jr. (appeared in Super Mario Kart, making a playable character for the second time) - Dixie Kong (appeared in Mario Kart Tour, making a playable character for the first time in the home console/main series) - Cranky Kong (new character) - Tiny Kong (new character) - Chunky Kong (new character) - Lanky Kong (new character) - King K. Rool (new character) - Baby Donkey Kong (new character, appeared in Mario Super Sluggers) - Kmerling (new character, King K. Rool's minion) We need more Donkey Kong characters in the next Mario Kart game

I always play as Donkey Kong on Wii DK's Snowboard Cross (DK Summit), Diddy Kong on 3DS DK Jungle and Funky Kong on GCN DK Mountain

@@hardcore7934 Question is why not now. Dixie is already implemented in Tour version and she would had made sense for 8DX as well.

​@@DoracakeProbably because Nintendo finished the Booster Course Pass. Unless they're planning another one, she won't be in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

@@fullmetalgamer6062 I already noted my point. All assets from Tour are portable for MK8 so it's Nintendo to decide whether they want to put her in or not.
