Hi Hursty, thanks for getting in touch & welcome to the wonderful world of Djing! Underneath each channel strip there's a three-way switch, If you keep this centred to 'THRU' this disables the cross-fader so it can be all the way to the left, right or anywhere you prefer it. Hope that's helpful, good luck!
