Dude...after several hours of my own research (people ALWAYS do your own research and don't be lazy 'bout it) this sounds like it certainly is a game-changer. See, I'm an old school "real" printer (printing press and ink-mix specialist) and designer who never chose screen printing, etc., as a serious second income project. At the age I am now, I'm finally impressed with where technology has taken us with this and thinking of jumping in feet first thanks to you!

@Lazy If you spend $7k total on the oven, printer, 500 transfer sheets and 500 shirts, you have 500 finished shirts for $7k. Sold at $14 a shirt to break even, every shirt after that costs about $3.50 to make, so you're quadrupling your money at $14 a shirt (which is a fairly low price for custom shirts). You might have to bump it up to $16-17 if you're using nicer blanks. Scared money don't make money. Your username checks out for sure.

I’ve seen a lot of videos where people say that the DTF ovens are good in the middle of the transfer but they don’t get all the way to the edges so a lot of people have actually switched to countertop toaster oven‘s or convection ovens and they say it’s much better Not to mention the price difference you can get one for $150 instead of 399 and up plus shipping I’ve seen them up to $699 for a little plug-in DTF oven like that. And with the toaster ovens that are a third of the price they don’t have the issues with the edges not getting hot they do recommend you put us a monitor in there that you can see so you know exactly what your temperature is at

Nice video man. I make some band tshirts with a cricut cutter and vinyl. My problem is the amount people are willing to pay for printed shirts isn't worth the amount of time it takes to print them. It is if I'm just doing like a little logo that I can get 10x of the same on one cut. But these big graphics are time consuming and expensive plus there's the cost of the machines to pay back. I guess I'm underselling the service.

That’s the problem there’s so many people in the market making T-shirts with vinyl cutters nowadays unless you’re doing DTG or DTF Full color prints there’s not much room and you’re going to have to sell more towards a bulk style to make any profit whereas you’re only making a dollar or two per shirt and have to sell a large amount to make anything 😩

Just fyi, to buy 5 1-litre bottles of ink to refill the CISS ink system will run you about $400.00. Using any ink other than that particular brand voids the warranty. It may all be worth it, but perhaps not for beginners. I think I'm going to start with a heat press and just order custom transfers; I can still make money, but not have the huge outlay for this system. What does "knock out the black" mean? Is it a setting or a button? How do you do it for printing on a white T-shirt? Thanks.

Is the DTF Printer made in America? I live in Australia and try to avoid buying anything made in China to help support local business and economy. I'm aware this isn't always possible but I try to make it a priority if it allows. Great video.

It is a rebranded Chinese unit. They cost $2200 on AliExpress currently and $4000 from the website being pushed in the video.

How does this printer perform when it comes to maintenance? I’ve heard tons of complaints about DTF printers giving headaches and being hell to maintain, especially if you’re not using it every day.

It would be more usefull if you can tell us how much it costs to print one t-shirt with all the things you need for it, how long it takes you, and how long the company say it will work. Because every machine has a lifetime. THEN you can say its an investment or NOT!!!

At $4,000 plus Oven Plus Ink and other things it's a $6,000 package. Hard pass as a business you would have to sell about 500 T-shirts just to break even.

Not bad if U actually run the numbers. 500 over 4 months thats 125 per month thats 4 tshirt per day. In less than half of year u would pay it off. N its profits from there. If U wanna take a short cut to life u will never arrive

We had this printer and returned it It was, to say, hot trash. White ink never printed properly, nozzles would misfire everyday, numerous headstrikes due to a faulty film tray. Maybe I got a lemon of a machine, but we got about two weeks of use out of it. Awful experience.

Durability, durability that’s what keeps them coming back. I want one of these but is this going to feel like sticky. So many things all t shirts makers wonder like myself.
