When I was in 3rd to 5th grade, my mom knew this lady who hau yeeb dub, she always come around begging for money, when my mom give her is ok, but when my mom say she have no money this lady foom us only. So so sad. My mom started stealing money and food to give her to keep as a friend and to learn some Hmong medicine when my mom was so desperate to be a Hmong healer. I would hear my dad yelling at my mom to stop or they divorce and my mom would say she can’t say no. I had to helped my dad and lectured my mom about druggie people and by 6th grade my mom stopped being friend with that lady.
