When I first heard this, I couldn't believe it! Andrey is just the opposite - he puts himself down, and even when he wins, he always says that his opponent played better and he doesn't know how he won. Then the other day, I saw a video where Tsitsipas was saying how long he and Rublev have known each other and that they're friends, and I was more surprised than ever at his comments! And they even told Andrey what he'd said. Poor Andrey!

Rublev is not a top 5 player and Tsitsipas was proven right by his comment after Rublev could not win the next match. Tsitsipas knows he should have won this match, but he failed yet again. Oh, well. If he can refine his game and his attitude, he will win more Masters titles and maybe a grand slam or two next year. I don't see why not.

Tsitsipas lost because Rublev beat him. Because, in that match, Rublev won more sets. Because Rublev, not Tsitsipas, was the better player. Andrey Rublev is a class act here and on the court. Rublev 14 Titels, Tsisipas 9 Titles. Tsisipas has just one more Master (2 Vs 1) and is offen best ranked. For me not obviously the best player.

@@capitacaldera02 Rublev's problem is poor grand slam performances. Tsitsipas has made semifinals and finals of grand slams several times. Rublev has never made it past QF of a grand slam yet. And he hasn't won the ATP World Tour Finals(Stefanos has). It is what it is until one of them wins a grand slam
