All was fun, until the evolution question. I was hoping the video would have provided the suggested answer, instead of leaving it hanging, which may result in the audience gaining incorrect knowledge or misconceptions of Evolution. The 20s explanation of evolution is: In a population (one [species] living in the same geographical location) there exist [variations] due to random mutations, individuals with favorable variation(traits) are selected for and have a higher chance to survive and reproduce. Their offspring [inherit] these favourable traits, overtime, proportion of individuals with such favorable traits increases and the population is said to be [adapted] to the environment. Just want to point out that the picture used for evolution, the march of progress, portrays one of the worst misconception for Evolution. Evolution is not a linear process whereby a Monkey 'evolves' into humans. This leads to many people asking the question: "If evolution is true, why are there still monkeys"? The process of Evolution is a branching process rather than a linear process. Humans and monkeys shared a common ancestor, which lived ~8-6 million years ago. This common ancestor split in their population where one group went on to give rise to the monkeys we have today while another group gave rise to us. We are cousins to monkeys, we did not evolved from monkeys. If you wanted a less than 5 seconds description of Evolution, it would be: "Descent with Modification". @@hcFDX There are no 'multiple' theories (the prior mention Lamarck's theory was a competing idea, but soon to be shown false) but there are different ways in which Evolution can occur. The most common example used is natural selection, where nature does the 'selecting' - e.g. birds eating poorly camouflaged moths --> overtime, majority of the remaining moths in the population are the ones that are well camouflaged. Another way is through artificial selection, where humans are the one 'selecting' - e.g. domestication of wolves: Our early ancestors hunted together with gray wolves. Our ancestors saw that there was variation in the tameness of the wolves and decided that they preferred wolves which are more obedient to them. So they selected for breeding pairs that are more obedient and overtime, the wolf population that stayed with humans are a lot more 'tamed' as compared to their wild counterparts. And you can guess, after a long period of time (20 000 - 40 000 years), this population of gray wolves that humans domesticated evolved into dogs we know nowadays. A good theory is one in which it is very easy to show it is wrong but has stood the test of time, whereby no evidence has been surfaced so far to disprove it

i understand that tsl wants to give everyone a chance. but if this many people hates and disapproves of megan for what she has done and her invalid points (as seen on this vid and crash course vid), shouldn't such a figure be better off-screen? it's normal for one to garner hate, but if theres so many haters and it is caused by her actions, both past and present (in vids), wouldn't it be better to not cast her in videos since she is too unlikeable?

Agree. But I think they already filmed all of these videos before her saga which caused people to hate and disapprove of her, so I don’t think TSL will want to re-flim (so much cost & time, editing factors to consider). Presently it clearly shows in the videos that she appears in, her invalid points in the various videos are quite turn off too lol. Personally for me I’d just skip her parts that she’s appearing in. Loooool 😐
