@P2Wealth10 ай бұрын
Hi, ordinary dividends are less taxes than “income” taxes. I also combine these funds with SPYI, GOF and other funds that are tax advantages and pay return of Capital (ROC) which is not taxed and LT Cap gains taxes even on some dividends. I also use corporations, and real estate tax codes to pay little in taxes on other income streams. We show you in our course how to pay no income taxes on even W2 income using real estate loopholes. Re invest 100% of dividends. That means your going for growth right? Yet not many of the covered call high yield etf's have out performed their parent underlying. It's very fair to compare to the benchmark if your re investing 100% back into the underlying for maximum growth. @P2Wealth11 ай бұрын
Yes true, you must pay taxes on dividends. But the perfect portfolio teaches tax avoidance. I just closed on a rental property Dec 29th and I’ll use “accelerated” and “bonus” depreciation, and the “short term rentals” loophole to avoid taxes on all forms of income. I use dynamic rebalancing and combine these funds with SPYI and other ETFs like GOF. My wife and I won’t pay taxes for 2024 snd 2025 because we use other real estate tax codes and we teach them in the course. Does that help? BUY, BORROW, DIE can be done even with index funds and will destroy any other traditional strategy which requires selling which triggers taxes. And, all retirement account are “dead money” since you can’t take a loan secured by the portfolio. Just my opinion and how my wife and I invest… not for everyone but works for us. Thank you for the feedback. Always appreciate it and I hope this gives you idea to improve your finances and legally avoid taxes. - Mark

Not on my sheet using 13.39 purchase, 11.91 EOY close. It's a return of about 52% doing nothing, taking in the distributions, reducing basis by distributions. With reinvestment, return is -17%. 184 shares at 11.91. 1339 initial with 1305 distributions total invested 2644. Dec EOY closing value 2191 - 2644 = -453 -453/2644 = -17% Looks a lot worse today, ETF at 8-60-9.00 with reinvestment. Can't do the computation ignoring distributions reinvested in your cost basis.

@@Rob-db4cc Hey, this is more a factor of the movement of Tesla. I ran TSLY, vs TSLP vs TSLA since November (since TSLP started) and they performed about the same. Even when running TSLY vs TSLA on (Portfolio visualizer), they are both negative since TSLY was created (TSLA -3.27% and TSLY -16.94%) but it is more the drop of TSLA that affects the return. If you want TSLA returns, now may a good time to buy after the crash. I only have 5% TSLY and 5% CONY but I also have dynamic rebalancing which helps huge with my GOF, SPYI, etc. I also use QQQY which is doing the best of the Defiance funds so works well with dynamic rebalancing on M1. Every money manager I've spoken with is promising 6% income in retirement and they say the nestegg will continue to grow, die with millions more than you took into retirement ... not one is saying 3.5 or 4%. Same experience all of my friends and coworkers have had. Anyone in here talk with Zega? What do they suggest they will be able to provide in your retirement if you let them manage your retirement savings???
@P2Wealth11 ай бұрын
Great. So they can beat the 4% Rule? Have they put that in writing? So they are smarter than William Bengren? If they are wrong, and you run out of money, will they let you move in with them? :) And, the 4% rule was updated to 3.3%. Also, it depends on sequence of returns. If you have an early crash and take distributions then you are far more likely to run out of money in your 80’s. Personally I’d recommend leaning the Buy, Borrow, Die strategy and buying cash flow real estate. That is what I’m doing. But I do have high hopes for the new YMAX position. But I’ll never sell, reinvest everything and diversity strategies, and the only way to access cash is via low interests loans. That is what the wealthy do and we teach in the course.

Focusing soley on premium yield as this group has started doing is a losing game in a covered call strategy. When TSLA dropped and NAV got hit, they messed up multiple times ignoring the opportunity to rebuild NAV. He even admits that NAV is not a concern in other interviews. That should be a red flag to anyone investing in TSLY. TSLY is down because management didn't stick to a plan, varied approaches and hampered recovery. Are they going to hit investors twice with fees in the cumulative funds. Once in the base funds, tsly/cony/amzy/etc. and in the bundled fund as well? If they do, nice job if you can get it.
