素晴らしい演奏、選曲も気に入りました。20年前に亡くなった母の生地の学校、私の知らない遠縁の娘さんが居る可能性さえ有ると思うとずっと応援したいバンドです。 これからも伝統の継承と活躍を祈ります。

素晴らしい撮影ありがとうございます。玉名女子は、音色の素晴らしいさは、全国トップクラス。この時期でこのレベル。全国大会に向けまだまだ、磨きがかけられてくるんでしょうね。なんせ、全国で１番練習していると聞きます。やっぱりみんなの努力しかないですよね。

ドラムメジャーが隊の中央にいるんですね。 初めて見たけど、考えてみれば合理的ですね。 玉名女子、流石ですね。 完璧。 一回だけ演奏会に来て頂いたことがあるんですが、一人一人の楽器の音色が素晴らしいんですよ。 きれいな音を出すというのではなく、きれいな音が楽器から出てくるという感じ。 全寮制で皆んなとても仲が良く、私は何も教えていません、と顧問の先生がおっしゃていらっしゃいましたが、先輩から後輩にとうけつがれているんでしょうね。 本当に素晴らしい。

マーチングの伝統形式から外れますが演奏のベースとなるパーカス隊の直近というのは演奏の指揮としては正解、隊列の指揮としては日本の道路管理や観衆のマナーが有っての事ですが。

This school's band comes to America in even-numbered years, and plays at the annual Glenn Miller Festival in Clarinda, Iowa (Miller's home town). I.e., they will be here in 2020. A lot of pros show up at this festival, but these kids hold their own and put on a killer show as you can tell here with their rendition of St. Louis Blues March. Let's put it this way: if ou think their music sounds good while they are marching, imagine how good it sounds when they play seated! They stop at a school near Seattle on this same tour. They are worth the time and effort to go see and hear!

I love this band, musically they are amazing. and their uniforms are elegant yet very simple. Too sharp.. As for playing the ST. Louis Blues that was a musical treat.

These guys are Soooo Good! Love seeing their videos of their trips to Calinda Iowa here in the USA for the Glenn Miller Orchestra Festive! They are excellent musicians and to hear them play the Glenn Miller Classics is a real treat!

I find the Tamana Girls High School Band absolutely amazing, they all are incredibly well taught. Their sound is so smooth, balanced and consistent, they seem to breathe as if they all using one lung making their sound so so solid. this is a truly amazing band. Plus their teamwork, discipline and work ethics are so evident in their personal presentation. I wish I'd had their teachers growing up. Simple perfection !!!,

私自身約５３年前の中学校１年生 ～８年間トロンボーンのパートで ブラスバンドとオーケストラにて 大好きな音楽に熱中を致しており ました。高校時代３年生頃は部員 不足でトロンボーン～チューバ＆ スーザフォン、ユーフォニームの 何でも屋😅も担当し、７０年大阪 万博パレードは、今でも一番楽し かった思い出です。 皆様も沢山の良い思い出作りに、 これからもガッツ＆ゴー❕　彼処

Among the top tier of high school bands in Japan, musicianship is impeccable. When you hear Tamana you can quickly and easily tell that you are listening to a very high quality group of musicians. And what is surprising is the size of the band. They are much larger than in past years. Bravo Tamana!!!!! Sounding and looking very sharp!! Tsubame Planning - 🙇‍♂️🙏🏻🙏🏻

Tamana Girls HS is one of the larger bands in Japan. One-third size of them play in United States. More than 200 members cannot be able to get on your stage.

@@shoji9658 I think the Osaka TOIN HS marching band is the largest in Japan? I know every year the size of the bands change after seniors graduate from HS so the largest band changes from year to year. Kumamoto HS band is another large band, I think. All of them though are excellent bands.

I have been surfing the web for groups like this. I notice they tend to gravitate to American swing music. I was in my High School band back in the 50's. The music we played was not "fun" These kids seem to be having "fun" We were pretty good, but to get better we would have had to do like these kids. All they do is practice. Learning the music is just a small part of the package. There is marching and dancing. They don't just have a band instructor. There are people in charge of costumes, dance moves, luggage, and chaperones for travel. These groups need to be well funded. It costs to outfit and travel with them. I think back to our little farm community high school and it would have never happened. Our only chaperone was the bus driver and he was not a hands on type person or we would not have taken the skin from the bass drum and filled it with bottles of beer for the trip home after playing at a neighboring town picnic.

@@FrankDeFelicecasan The concert uniforms of the Tamana Girls Wind Orchestra are probably what you would expect. Their marching uniforms are certainly athletic and very comfortable for performing parades which requires a lot from them considering their outstanding musical abilities. As a man and retired US Army bandmaster, I wouldn't want my trousers fitting the way those slacks fit the girls in that band. Their decorum, drill and ceremonies, and ensemble are in a very special class. The distraction of uniform is moot. Or something like that.
