Kubishime, or choke, is a technique found in several martial arts, whether in Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Krav Maga, among others. In Aikido, it is a technique that has been less and less trained in the Dojos, but it is part of the art's curriculum, despite not being considered a basic technique, such as Ikkyo, Shiho Nage and Irimi Nage.
There are countless ways to apply it, here in the video I explore what in my view is the basic form and some possible variations that I use in my practice.
