Something I'd say to any creator who makes these aus as a word of advice and inspiration: A slime is not inherently weak, just stupid. The reason Rimuru was able to do all he could with the form he was given wasn't just some god blessed power but his human consciousness, his brain. Slimes are brainless creatures who cannot dream or think to do anything with the evolutionary skills they possess thus they stay weak. Slimes have the potential to be powerful, they just can't realize it themselves.
