For some reason, many people underestimate Tsukishiro. He is in no way inferior in abilities to Ayanokouji. Everyone says Ayanokoji is a genius, he played a difficult chess battle. But in fact, all of Ayanokoji’s chess moves were foreseen by Tsukishiro. At least they are on the same level. Tsukishiro was able to analyze a complex chess match and at the right moment change the move so that it did not arouse any suspicion either from the commission or from such a chess genius as Sakayanagi. He was able to read Ayanokoji's brilliant moves and change the move that would lead him to victory to a move so that the chess game would still remain difficult and unobvious

His motive here was to get rid of ayano's protection point so that it wouldn't be difficult for him to expel him later on. Although, even without that reason, I think he might still have interfered.

What are you talking about? He didn’t anticipate anything in the chess game. All he did was swap an input. He is inferior to Ayanokoji in terms of ability, but his position of power gives him an advantage. That’s why he’s so dangerous.

Neither ayanokoji nor sakayanagi are kids . Sakayanagi is more intelligent and ayanokoji is physically and mentally superior to tsukishiro no matter how you see it . Also , ayanokoji isn't even at his best yet in fact u could say he's at his worst rn since it's been a while since he has done any training plus he's still a trenager and hasn't physically peaked yet either. You would know if u read Vol . 0 .

I love Tsukishiro. He is a badass motherfucker. In the LNs he looks slimmer. The voice actor choice is cool altho I expected Jouji Nakata for the role, but ah what can I do. Its still a surprisingly cool voice. Can't wait to hear Shiba sensei's voice.

From my glimpse of the chess board this is what I got. I’m not an expert or even a regular player, but even I knew that move was in no way a winning move, not even a strategical move. It was straight up fumble. If Horikita chooses not go with that move regardless of how smart Ayanakoji is…. It just tells me how much she relays on Ayanakoji

There was 1 move (technically 2 but 2nd line would lead to same result) that would be almost impossible for her to find with how much time was left. Even if she didn't do that she would be losing

Correct me if I'm wrong but once the leader joins the match using their right to, isn't it basically required of them to do the moves they choose? Sure she was baffled and whatnot, but by exam terms, it was ayanokoji and arisu's turn to play, with suzune and Hashimoto simply as the proxy that moves the piece. At least, that's what I remember from the novel. I don't remember if it was ever specified in the exam rules that the person playing can choose to listen or not to the leader once they used their right to interfere.

You have no idea how wrong you are! It’s not your fault though. But you are lacking a lot of context to how actually the game/ event was supposed to be played here. Horikita does relay on Ayanokoji from time to time. But in this particular event her fault is literally zero. In fact she had given him an excellent lead.

They say she is a genius of chess lmao. Unnecessary Queen Sacrifice that blundered a mate. If Sakayanagi took the Knight with Bishop instead then that would be Mate in 1 or so I thought because Ayanokoji still has a counter. WQe8 check, BK to H7 avoiding the check, WQe4 check again and also a move that destroys the Mate in 1.

@@nkt0811do you even know what your talking about? Tsukishiro is a acting chairman of ANHS. He could expel ayanokoji at anytime he wants. Even if he didn't had the authority to to so, he would have so many plans and tricks to expel koji. He just didn't do so and talking about combat in the island exam, tsukishiro purposefully lost against koji and wasn't even serious about it. I'm not a fan of tsukishiro or something but we literally can say this just by looking at it. If you still don't believe me. Tsukishiro has killed someone that literally tried to badmouth his political party. And yes he didn't even hesitate to kill then and bro was smiling after that.
