本講義では、都市計画におけるデータサイエンスの役割について解説する。人口・土地利用からの課題の可視化、良好な住環境を備えた住宅地づくり、人流データからのCOVID-19の影響の把握、高齢化が進む団地での団地再生など、生活に密着した課題や場所を対象に、現地調査やインタビュー調査などによる現状分析、都市計画制度等の課題整理、社会実験による検証、まちづくり提案について紹介します。
This lecture will explain the role of data science in urban planning. The course targets issues and places closely related to daily life, such as visualisation of issues from population and land use, development of residential areas with good living environments, understanding the impact of COVID-19 from human flow data, and regeneration of housing estates in ageing estates, and analyses of the current situation through field research and interview surveys, organisation of issues in urban planning systems, etc., social verification through experiments, and urban development proposals will be introduced.
