There's something interesting I noticed about this MV: In the Tsukuyomi novel, Rino and Yuma have a strategy to relieve tension when performing in front of people, and it's to visualize the audience as something other than people ー flowers. This is the reason flower-headed people appear so often in Tsukuyomi's other MVs. However in this final song, the audience is finally human again, so maybe Rino's not afraid anymore ...

There's really something haunting about Rino living out Yuma's dreams, even though she can't actually feel happy aobut it without her.

so there IS common lore behind all these songs! could you _please_ explain it to me if it's not to much trouble? i knew there was some kind of story with these two girls, but that's about it... are they existing characters from somewhere (doubt it but just in case)? is it just the producers' thing? is there a complete story? i need to know 😭

@@shinisnotonfire Not all of the details have been disclosed, but the short haired girl is called Rino and the long haired one is called Yuma. Throughout most of the Tsukuyomi songs as well as the vocaloid song I Want to Be Your Heart, it tells the story of how Yuma and Rino were both girls who felt out of place in the world. Yuma was a musician who wanted to make a difference and Rino a girl who hated the world's awfulness. When the girls meet, though, this changes. Yuma learns that her life has meaning so long as she spends it with Rino and Rino sees the good of the world through Yuma. Together, Rino learns music alongside Yuma and they grow close, falling in love and writing songs as one. However, at some point during high school, Yuma dies. It isn't clear how exactly, but she passes away leaving Rino behind. Lost, Rino does the only thing she can: sing. Using her own melodies and those left behind by Yuma, she sings and becomes famous, touching many lives. But, all of her songs are written for Yuma, who can no longer hear them. At the end, Rino is left to try and live in a world without Yuma. The ending of this song shows Rino on the stage, singing about how, in spite of how cold and cruel the world was to them, she's still choosing to live. This isn't from anything, it's a story made up by Yurry canon for his band tsukuyomi and the story is ongoing.

@@BreadBoxVideo oh wow, that's... yeah, about as sad as i thought (although i also wondered if there were some supernatural elements because of a few lines about "different worlds/lives" in some other videos, but now that i think about it, it's probably a metaphor for all the different songs they wrote/rino writes after yuma's death?). so glad to finally know what's up, thank you very much for explaining! just one other thing, about the names: was it mentioned in some video descriptions or their social media or...?
