Agreed 100%. I also wish there were at least 2-3 more per year, ideally in different locations. When I was a little kid in the early 1970's, my dad took me to not only the Reno Air Races, but also the Mojave and San Diego Air Races, all in the same year. Imagine going to 3-4 of these per year!

He didn’t quit. He got hurt in a 1930’s air race replica crash in 1990 and couldn’t fly. Skip Holm took over and then Steve retired.
