Over 20 years ago I went on the first water coaster at Magic waters in Rockford. It was fun but this looks like a blast. Being 39 , I don’t know though lol.

I remember that one too! this one at HH CHicago is actually pretty similar. I faintly remember the one at the old Magic Waters having a taller drop, but also being a shorter ride overall. this water coaster is actually quite a decent length Magic Waters is now Hurricane Harbor Rockford! they got rid of the water coaster sadly

I really wish the waterpark was still included with admission to Six Flags Great America. Never the less, I still plan to to spend a seperate day at the waterpark next time I visit Great America (unless you think I can visit them both on the same day).

i visited both of them in the same day, but i couldn’t spend much time at hurricane harbor as it closed at 6pm so maybe 1 day of great america 1 day of hurricane harbor

We rode it on Memorial Day but it wasn’t exactly hot outside and the water was so cold I couldn’t enjoy the ride!

Has anyone ever fallen out of the raft? Because I would think if you did, you'd get seriously injured if your arm or leg fell down into one of those open slats as you are skidding across them foung pretty fast. This is an unsafe ride.

Nah, sometimes at the very end people will slide out the tube cuz the bottom sends you flying but that's just like any other tube ride. As long as you're hanging on the ride feels very secure
